Meet 2nd IPS Beginners !

Welcome everyone! 😊

My name is Laura Mussi. I'm one of the teachers of some of the students who will be participating in this blog: 2° 7ma nivel inicial de inglés! 😉

Our school is called Instituto Politécnico Superior "Gral. San Martín" (alias "poli"). It's a very big school in Rosario and, there's another "poli" in Granadero Baigorria. My students go to the school in Granadero Baigorria from Tuesday to Friday, and they go to the "poli" in Rosario on Mondays. But, I'll stop here because my students are working on a project to tell you more about our school and our city. 

Look, this is Santa Fe! You can see the area of Rosario "in orange" and, in the north, there's Granadero Baigorria.

I hope you like this experience! I think it's a great idea to learn more English by making new friends! 😄

Gabriel´s introduction

 

Hello dear IPS colleagues and students!    

My name is Gabriel Beronda. I am one of the teachers of English at ETEC UBA. I have been working at ETEC Lugano since the school´s opening day. I work in the school in the morning shift from Monday to Thursday.

This is the 7^th year of work and the school keeps growing. It has gained a good reputation and it is well established in the Lugano community.  

English lessons are delivered every day except for Fridays. The students come to school in the morning and afternoon shift. They work hard to develop all the linguistic skills to be able to communicate effectively in English.

Our students have participated in several national and international contests and competitions with very good results. Every chance to expand their horizons is welcome.

Greetings dear teachers and students!!

 My name is Verónica Pena. I am one of the teachers at Escuela Técnica Lugano,  (ET.UBA Lugano UBA) which is part of the University of Buenos Aires. 

The school building is located in the south of the city of Buenos Aires. At first we started working on the premises of the CBC (Ciclo Basico Comun) UBA, located in the same area. That went on for two years. In 2018 we moved to the school building, which is new and large enough to hold as many as 500 students. That is the number of students we have at present.

Ours is a young school. We started working in 2015 with just two first year classes. Since last year we have been working in full sway! 

ETEC is a technical school and the students can choose between two specializations: ICT's and Mechatronics.

In our school, the students attend English lessons according to their level of competence in the language. The groups are reduced in number to facilitate learning and student-teacher interaction. The school has got 6 teachers of English and we work as a team.

We are glad to get to know you and exchange messages with you to share opinions and experiences. This is a great opportunity to enhance our English.
